Travel Companions for Singles

Single travel and status and traveling alone as well as travel companions for singles, are the buzzwords of the decade from tourism and the cruise industry.  Package holidays for singles come complete and these can be either escorted or cruise holidays.  Escorted single holidays will provide traveling companions that you can get close to, or not.

Groups provide a safe haven yet each single person in the group can act on their own will regarding the many options available. A tour guide is provided and you won’t get lost!  The more you can learn about a historic site, for instance, the more appealing it will be.  Your travel mates are also single, so there can be a lot to talk about.  With similar backgrounds perhaps, there are new bonds to be forged if you want to.  After traveling solo for a while you may wish to hook up with a friend, or who knows, perhaps a “more than a friend”.

Singles cruises are very popular.  There’s the no doubt vast expanse of the ship to explore, other singles to meet if you want to, many activities to enjoy on the ship or on land, and even a cooking lesson or wine lecture or two to attend.  Travel companions for singles can be had by merely turning to any activity you’re interested in.  On board a cruise there are cocktail parties where you can dress up, lunches, games, and much more.  Many cruises offer music lessons, dances, theatre experiences, movies, rock climbing and a lot of shopping and eating.  There’s always the relaxation of a deck chair and a good ebook or paperbook.

Exotic locations around the globe are destinations for many singles.  Often, there isn’t any of those singles supplements added to a cabin fare and a single will have plenty of space and time for themselves if they want to.  Package holidays for singles, checking available discounts, and plenty of planning are all great ideas for singles traveling alone or with companions.  Often, there’s a close to you age range in packaged holidays as this seems to make single travelers a bit more comfortable.  If the opportunities are there and you want to meet others, then do it.

Plan your itinerary in detail so you can take advantage of any opportunity of interest.  Don’t wear yourself out though.  It is a time to relax after all.  There may be many ports of call and it’s always a wise choice to travel around towns not known to you in a small group.  Always pack as light as you can and it will give you a greater sense of freedom.  Cruise ships aren’t like airlines but all the same, having to be responsible for two large suitcases for instance, is sort of a burden.  Better one carry-on bag to hold your basic pieces and toiletries.

Watch for a signal from the other person if you’re in the mood to meet someone.  They may want to be alone at that particular time, too. Travel companions for singles are everywhere, if you want them.
