The Allure of the Seas is a cruise ship by Royal Caribbean and it hold 6,296 passengers as well as 2,384 members of the crew.

Starting in May of 2015, this majestic ship will be sailing from Barcelona Spain to major ports in Italy, France and Majorca.

This cruising experience is perfect for individuals who want to brag that they sailed on the largest ship in the entire world in addition to the nonstop nightlife and huge variety of dining and entrainment options.
The Boardwalk and Central Park are open air neighborhoods and these are what make this ship truly stand out from the crowd.  I mean this is like a whole city on water!

Similar to the Central Park in NYC, this area on-board the ship has living trees and other greenery that surrounds outdoor cafes and shops.  Excellent for early morning jogs or for lovers to hand hold while they walk the deck.

Allure of the Seas If you have ever been to Coney Island, you are going to enjoy the Boardwalk atmosphere aboard the Allure of the Seas cruise ship. You will find a couple of restaurants, one being Johnny Rockets, an old fashioned ice cream parlor and candy stores that are awaiting your visit. No boardwalk is complete without an authentic carousal.

The Sports Zone is another “neighborhood” on this massive ship and there you will find a full water park, a beach like area near the pool, ping pong tables, zip lining, a mini golf course, and rock climbing.
The Promenade is where you will find a variety of boutiques, coffee and champagne bars as well a free pastries and pizza any time of the day or night. The Promenade is as wide as three lanes of highway and it is longer than a professional football field.

This is a cruise ship that is full of entertainment including a huge casino to try your luck on the hundred plus slot machines or gaming tables as well as the ice skating rink where you can practice your own moves as well as enjoy the Ice Capades show.

Be entertained by a live comedian or listen to live jazz nightly. Big band music could be found at Dazzles and Boleros will offer lively Salsa music and Blaze is known as the hottest nightclub on the sea.
The Opal Theater is the main lounge that seats 1,350 guests who will enjoy a Vegas style show and full versions of hit Broadway shows.

There is no limit to the dinning and food choice on board the Allure of the Sea.
The Opus Dining Room is the main restaurant that offers a very elegant atmosphere. They have a grand staircase and beautiful crystal chandeliers.

The Windjammer Lido deck restaurant is more of a casual dining experience and they offer buffet style meals.  Giovanni’s Table is found in Central Park and it is an Italian dining experience that everyone would enjoy. Chop’s is a great place to enjoy a grilled steak and desserts.

“150 Central Park” is the finest dining on the ship and you can experience an 8 course tasting menu starting at $35.  The Cupcake Cupboard will satisfy any sweet tooth. This is an experience that your taste buds should not miss. The Brazilian Churasscuria restaurant will bring you hot, freshly grilled meats to your tables served on a hot skewer.  There is also the Izumi Japanese Restaurant and the Wipe Out Café.

Final Word
The Allure of the Seas has a great balance as no place would be too crowed nor too empty that it would be unappealing. The jazz nightly won me – get to and book the cruise now can guarantee it will be a corker!

A special note is that this ship is the first in the Royal Caribbean line to offer a nursery for children 6 months to 3 years of age. This, so far, is a free service to passengers but who knows how long this will last get too and book Allure of the Seas for the cruise in May – see you there.
