Cruise for Singles updateCruise NewsCRUISE TIPS

Christmas Cruise Are They Worth The Stress if You Are Single.

Going on a cruise is magical when you go on the right cruise with a good circle of friends OR going it on your own is all about picking the right time.

If you are a family and you need to travel in school holidays NOW is the time to go. Here you will meet other people with children.

Need to book early as there is a child age limit to each of the cruise lines so it’s very important to book and plan ahead. The advantage of this that the kids will be able to join in the kids club and chances are they will have such fun it will be hard to drag them away from their activities.

These cruises are very busy and noisy with the kids full of excitement about Christmas anyway so be sure to book cruises with a Sanctuary where

What happens if the shore excursion is sold out?

Cruise NewsCRUISE TIPSTravel Tips

We have all been there when we have booked the cruise that appealed to us the most and where we have thumbed and daydreamed and spent hours pouring over the different pages in the glossy magazine telling us about all of the on board activities and then start to plan what wonderful things we would like to do in the ports we visit.

The big countdown to the date we sail off into the sunset seems ages away when we think oh crap we have not booked the day tour at blank….we madly ring either the agent and then no good news there ring the cruise line to be told the same thing OMG…what now??

There are a few that you can do if you are a loyal cruise passenger to the cruise line you are going with you may go to them direct on board and sweetly point out (never demand and be a right pain in

What if luggage for your cruise is lost??

Cruise NewsCRUISE TIPSTravel Tips

First thing first though before you finish packing for your cruise you should of either had your travel agent either send you the baggage labels to attach to your bags that have your name and your cabin number clearly on the label OR if you have booked online you can register and download the labels and then print them off.

Ensure that the labels can be clearly seen from every handle on the bag. If you have 3 bags for example you would put 1/3 2/3 3/3 so that they know the number of bags that will go to the cabin.

NEXT STEP

When you arrive at the shipping terminal usually you will be directed to the bag drop off area where they will deliver the bags to your cabin. Don’t panic if your bag is not there straight away give them a few hours then go to

P&O PACIFIC EXPLORER CRUISE SHIP – REVIEW

Cruise News

I have just returned from a 10-day cruise to north of Sydney stopping at Airlie Beach, Cairns, Port Douglas, Willis Island, Brisbane and then back to Sydney on the newly re-furbished Pacific Explorer previously call Dawn Princess.

I was never on the Dawn Princess but was told the colours were dark and dingy and this has now been replaced with a light and airy décor throughout with bay windows with comfortable padded seating with cushions that were ideal for reading, snoozing and watching the world go by.

Although the cabins were small they were comfortable and clean with every effort made by the housekeeping staff to ensure that we were taken care of. Every night the bedding was turned back and alternate nights there was either chocolates or animal’s sculptures made from the towels.
